Gravidyn vs Ceradyn: What's the Difference?

Basically they are the same except for the inner core of their filter elements, the rest is EXACTLY the same. The Gravidyn elements have an inner core of activated charcoal inside to remove bad tastes as opposed to the Ceradyn elements which has a rock media inner core.

The Gravidyn has added benefit of charcoal filtering that gives the water a fresher and better taste. The Gravidyn's slight negative point is that it's inner charcoal element will last much less that the outer ceramic portion of the filter element.
