This lensatic compass is a rugged, highly accurate phosphorescent
version of the compass that is manufactured for and supplied to the U.S.
military. It has been used as an economical alternative to the Tritium model.
Its brief exposure to external light charges the luminous markings for night
time use. It is equipped with a magnifying lens, sight wire, dial graduations in
both degrees and mils to ensure an accurate reading. It has an aluminum frame
and waterproof housing, which makes it built to last. "phosphorescent' is
stamped on the back. A copper induction dampening system slows the rotation of
the magnet without the use of liquids.
Includes a carry pouch & belt clip.
