Here is a strong, lightweight nylon tarp that can be used as an emergency shelter, and it is also  reasonably priced.
This tarp is constructed from rugged, 1.9oz ripstop nylon and has a waterproof, urethane coating for use in any type of weather.

Tarp has 8 reinforced brass grommets, one in each corner and four spread evenly around the perimeter at approximately every 3 feet for convenience and setup ease. All key seams are double stitched for extra strong durability and long lasting service.
