TYPE I CLASS III UNISSUED MILITARY SURVIVAL KIT

This Military Survival Kit was a general purpose kit designed to perform the basic survival tasks of making shelter, provide a signaling capacity, and to help gather food and water for up to 24 hours and beyond, or until rescued, if necessary. It is a general purpose kit, but it was developed for use in desert; mountain; arctic; and temperate water climates.

Packaged in Waterproof Bag

The Military Survival Kit is packaged in a sand colored, abrasion resistant, waterproof outer bag that is heat sealed around the perimeter and center to form two separate sides. Both sides have inner bags that are transparent, waterproof, vapor proof, and greaseproof. The inner bags are vacuum heat sealed, with a two-sided design that can also be torn in half to provide two separate packs, with components in each side to provide for two survival scenarios.
